A: Our murphy bed features a reliable hydraulic lift mechanism that ensures smooth operation. The hydraulic lift system, consisting of pistons/pumps installed on both sides of the bed cabinet, effectively balances the weight of the mattress, making it safe and easy to bring the bed down. The entire hardware set, including the metal frame, is manufactured in China. 

The hydraulic piston/pump has an estimated lifespan of approximately 30,000 uses, which translates to around 10 years if the bed is opened and closed eight times a day on average.

Hydraulic Pump Warranty:

For the first year, if you encounter any issues with the hydraulic pump, we will replace it at no cost, providing a one-to-one replacement.

During the second year, if there are any problems with the hydraulic pump, we will still offer a one-to-one replacement, but a transportation and labor fee at the prevailing market rate will apply.

After the second year, replacement parts and transportation/labor fees will be charged at the prevailing market rate. Before proceeding with any replacements, we will send you a quotation for your approval. Once payment is received, we will schedule the replacement work. 

Cabinet Warranty (including carpentry and hinges):

Our carpentry work comes with a warranty period of six months. If there are any defects in parts such as cabinet hinges during this period, we will repair or replace them at no additional cost, covering both transport and labor fees. Please note that normal wear and tear is not covered under the warranty.
